Lots of early mornings, late nights, and many, many weekend markets. All this to say, don’t give up on your dream, even and especially if it takes time. You’ll appreciate it even more.

They are also out on warm days starting to gather pollen and scarce nectar. This can cause them to starve if they are really short on stored resources. March is typically a “make or break” month. Spring should be on its way though right?!

Darker yolks from free range chickens means more vitamins (a and e), more omega 3 fatty acids and carotenoids too! If you can’t raise them yourself, you should find a local farmer who does. 🐓 🍳

Most people don’t think about trees like this being a vital source, but when nothing else is blooming yet they are really important. Are you looking forward to Spring?
